Along with the backpacks that we're donating to the Nicaragua project, the Spanish Honor Society is going to create stories for the younger children and write up handmade, personal, and original Christmas cards for each of the children/teens that are receiving gifts this year (most of Hispanic-speaking countries are Catholic). The 7th, 8th, and 9th grades (as well as the Foreign Language Dept. teachers) are all going to work on creating the cards this year. We'll be working on the cards during the next few weeks, and packing the backpacks will also begin soon!
